HBO Max is really on a streak of releasing amazing series. The newest series to grace our presence is The Last of Us. This is a new series based on a popular 2013 video game. The series is set in a post-apocalyptic world where fungi take over human bodies. The people turn into scary looking creatures with one goal: to spread the infection. The story follows Ellie and Joel as they travel through their dangerous world. They encounter many challenges along the way. However, the fate of humanity may rest in their hands so they must persevere. Ellie is a young girl who is tough as nails and curses like a sailor. Joel is a very serious and straight forward man. The banter between these two is hilarious. Against all odds, they form an unlikely bond and decide to stick together.
HBO Max just released the first 2 episodes, and they are already so addicting. The two episodes are full of adventure, heartbreak, stress, and thrill! Watching leaves you on the edge of your seat. The one bad thing is that we must wait every Sunday for a new episode to be released! If you are looking for a good series to get addicted to, this is worth your time! Episodes are released every Sunday at 9:00 pm!!
