Springtime Events

As we roll right into spring, the weather is finally starting to become warmer and have clearer skies. The upcoming campus events are taking absolute advantage of this, starting with Camp on Campus, a collaboration between Outdoor Adventures and CAB. Happening this Friday starting at 4:00PM, students will be able to camp overnight on campus! A rock wall will be provided for climbing, raffle prizes will be offered, and a movie will start at 8:00PM. If you haven’t already yet, make sure to sign-up at Outdoor Adventures in Bast to secure a spot and/or rent out a tent of your own. The event will end the next day on Saturday, 10:00AM.

On March 28th next Friday, if you’re searching for an indoor event, look no further than Lego Buildapalooza happening from 7:00PM-9:00PM! This is exclusively a friendly Lego building competition where you can either build for fun or compete for massive Lego prizes. The best part is, whatever you build, you can take home and keep! Different rounds will commence providing unique themes, where participants will be given a set amount of time to complete their build before leaving it up to a popularity vote. Prizes get bigger and bigger the further along the event goes on, and raffle prizes will also be given out throughout the Buildapalooza. If you’re a lover of Legos, make sure to stop by!

Last but certainly not least, on March 29th from 4:00PM-8:00PM will be the Carnival and Concert! Happening outside on the quad, this massive event is filled with sword swallowers, caricature artists, an obstacle course, ice cream, cotton candy, and popcorn. Commons will provide food outside, alongside Wim Tapley and his band “The Cannons” performing an exciting setlist. If you’re craving some big time fun, you absolutely don’t want to miss this, for it’s one of the biggest events happening this semester!
