Baseball: The baseball team (15-15, 12-5 ODAC), played a double header at Virginia Wesleyan and came out victorious for both games, 8-4 and 9-5, and then followed up with a 11- 4 victory at Emory and Henry. The team then hit a series of losses against Randolph-Macon and Guilford. Coming up, the team has a double header on April 20 at Eastern Mennonite starting at noon.
Softball: Roanoke College softball (17-18, 6-10 ODAC) faced off at Guilford for a double header loss on April 6 and then had a 1-for-1 double header at both Averett and Lynchburg the following week, before losing to Virginia Wesleyan on April 14. Coming up this week they have another double header against Randolph-Macon on April 20.
Men’s Lacrosse: Men’s lacrosse (10-6, 6-3 ODAC) had a 18-10 Alumni Weekend loss against Lynchburg only to come back for a 23-2 sweep against Ferrum. They had a 13-10 loss against Hampden-Sydney and then a 16-7 win over Shenandoah to wrap up this past week. Up next, the team will face off at Randolph-Macon on April 20 at 1pm.
Women’s Lacrosse: Women’s lacrosse (10-5, 5-2 ODAC) had a series of sweeping wins in the past two weeks, including 22-4 against Bridgewater, 23-4 at Randolph, 15-7 at home against Virginia Wesleyan, and 17-8 at Guilford. They hope to continue their streak at Shenandoah on April 19 at noon.
Men’s Tennis: Men’s tennis (7-9, 5-4 ODAC) lost 9-0 to Guilford at home on April 7, but then won against undefeated Bridgewater 5-4 on April 10. They have their Senior Day match at Virginia Wesleyan on April 20 starting at 11am.
Women’s Tennis: Women’s tennis (9-7, 7-4 ODAC) had two at home wins and losses this past week. They won 7-2 against Bridgewater and then 9-0 sweep on Senior Day against Hollins. They lost 6-3 to Washington and Lee and then 7-2 to Lynchburg. They have one more game at Lynchburg on April 20 at 2pm.
Track and Field: On April 6, the track and field team competed in the Phoenix Invitational at Elon University in North Carolina. They also went to Randolph College on April 13 to compete in the WildCat Invitational, where the men’s team placed 5th and the women’s placed 6th. On Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20, they are set to return to Randolph to compete in the ODAC Championships.
