What do movie critics, Little Monsters, and moviegoers all have in common? They are all absolutely hyped over popstar Lady Gaga’s debut in “A Star is Born.”
Bradley Cooper’s newest film will feature our favorite Golden Globe and Grammy award recipient as the leading role of Ally in what is being described as a tragic love story.
Without going too far into detail, Ally begins a music career that closely mirrors Gaga’s own meteoric rise to fame, but her personal relationship with Jack (Cooper) does not fair nearly as well as her career.
Junior Phillip Bagshaw is a longtime fan and describes her as “an artist before a singer, an artist before an actress.” Phillip describes her early career after dropping out of college as not a singer who can act, but as an actress who, after failing to pick up any major roles, took to singing. He is excited to finally see her on the big screen.
“Gaga fills the role perfectly, and after two hours I expect to see her as a can vas for other people’s art, not as an artist herself. Gaga may be shown as a vessel for someone’s creative energy, and Cooper just happened to fit the bill,” Bagshaw said.
