In response to “What is your Halloween costume?”

Lolo Pham Hoang ‘26 said, “I’m going to be a frat brother. I was thinking of borrowing a Hawaiian shirt and I’m going to wear some shorts with a white tank top and a baseball cap. I think it would be funny and it’s pretty low maintenance because I have all of the material. I don’t plan to be in costume all that often, but if I must show up in costume then it will be a quick and easy outfit to throw on.”

In response to “What do you hate about fall and the Halloween season?”

Ryley Hicks ‘26 said, “What I hate the most about Halloween and fall itself is that you don’t really get a chance to experience Halloween or fall. The second the leaves turn; you start seeing Christmas decorations. I have seen more Christmas decorations than Halloween, and Halloween hasn’t even happened yet. Christmas is my favorite holiday — don’t get me wrong — but we aren’t able to appreciate or enjoy Halloween without seeing a Santa Claus pop up next to a Jack Skellington statue.”

In response to “What is the best movie to get into the Halloween spirit?”

Charlie Emanuelson ‘28 said, “I think my favorite movie to get me into the Halloween Spirit is Friday the 13th. It’s just old enough that the special effects are the perfect level of corny. Nothing is scarier than being hunted by an old woman in the forest for being too freaky.”
