With the current academic year quickly approaching its end, it is time for the annual search for a new Editor-in-Chief of The Brackety-Ack. Each year the Student Life Committee, consisting of faculty, staff and SGA leaders, comes together to meet with and consider applicants for this unique position on campus. This meeting will take place following spring break for students. The application and interview process for this position consists of preparing a SWOT analysis for The Brackety-Ack and presenting it in-person to this Student Life Committee.
The requirements of the position include status as a current Roanoke College student and a unique passion for empowering student voices in the unique format of print journalism. Students of any academic background or class standing are welcome to apply. Students who are interested in applying for the position should reach out to Joe Boucher, Director of Student Activities. For further information, students can reach out to Alexis Barton, the current Editor-in-Chief or Dr. Tom Carter, the faculty advisor for The Brackety-Ack
