“Don’t Worry Darling” has been a highly anticipated film for the year! This cast is full of stars you know and love. Including: Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Olivia Wilde, Gemma Chan, and Chris Pine. This film is a thriller and a mystery. Watching the trailer, it is exceedingly difficult to process what this movie is about. It seems super chaotic and all over the place but that is how you know it is going to be a good movie!
The movie takes place in the 1950s and follows the story of Alice (Florence Pugh). Alice is a housewife who seems very unfulfilled with her life. She is married to Jack (Harry Styles) who works for a mysterious company. As the movie goes on, it is noticeably clear that there is something suspicious about the company Jack works for. It seems that Alice is the only one noticing the odd behavior. Judging from the trailer, it could be theorized that Jack is working for a cult-like company. All the husbands that work for the company live in the same community altogether. Throughout their stay, Alice begins to wonder if things are not as they seem in the community. It is unclear whether or not Alice is going to be an unreliable narrator. The movie might be about her slowly going crazy. Or there might actually be something off with the community Jack and Alice are living in. All questions will be answered in theaters on September 23rd!!
