Cross Country: The Cross Country team recently took 16th Place at the VertCross Invitational hosted by High Point University. The team and its top runners are continuing to place competitively within ODAC as they prepare for the ODAC Cross Country Championships next week.
Field Hockey (9-7, 2-4 ODAC): These Maroons most recently dominated the field in their game at Ferrum, winning 7-0 against the conference rival. The team is holding their own as they prepare for their last home game of the season on November 2nd v. Virginia Wesleyan.
Golf: In their home tournament, the Maroons placed 12th out of 17 competitive teams last week at the Blacksburg Country Club. Stellar performances from freshmen Cameron Dillon and Justin Grenier propelled the team to their solid finish.
Men’s Soccer (12-1-3, 4-1-2 ODAC): Men’s Soccer has hadan incredible season, just recently taking their first loss against Lynchburg. The team still ranks 3rd in ODAC as they are finishing out the season. Come see the team face Emory & Henry in their final home game next week.
Swimming: The swim team has been off to a fantastic start to their new season. Placing 3rd at the ODAC Relays, the team is showing their dominance in the pool after just two meets.
Volleyball (12-10, 5-5 ODAC): The volleyball team has been on a hot streak as they prepare to close out their season. Before their most recent loss to Randolph-Macon in the ODAC Tri-Match, the Maroons had won 4 games in a row against ODAC competitors, propelling them upwards in the conference standings.
Women’s Soccer: Women’s Soccer has been on a hot streak over their past few games. Despite their close loss to Washington & Lee, these Maroons have outscored their opponents 7-3 in the past three games. Come see the team in their final two home games over the next week.
