#10 Sydney Daniels
Volleyball Co-Captain
Position: Outside Hitter
As the season begins, Sydney Daniels explains some of her goals are to be in the moment and leave her impact before graduating. I hope to enjoy my last season, really soak it all in because it’s going to fly by really quickly, and I hope to be the best leader to the team that I can be,” said Daniels.
Setting goals is something Daniels is already familiar with as she credits setting small goals to being a big part of her success, but that is not all. “Doing workouts outside of practice is one of the key things for me to get in better shape, but also working on being smart and thinking about all the things I could be better at,” said Daniels.
#24 Ryan Hepburn
Soccer Co-Captain
Position: Center Midfield
Ryan Hepburn knows the time and place to be serious, and when the clock starts running, his game face is on. “During games I’m as focused as possible. There are little details I try to focus in on. Because I’m a center midfielder a lot of what I have to do is pretty physical, so I always have to be tuned in mentally,” said Hepburn.
Even though this is Hepburn’s last season, his goals are centered on the team getting better and being the best team they can be. He speaks for his fellow senior teammates by explaining, “Our goal is always to win the ODAC championship and making a deep run into the NCAA Tournament. It’s not really personal. It’s more team-oriented rather than personal goals,” said Hepburn.
