Concert Roundup

As we approach the end of the semester, events are finally starting to wind down as finals week approaches. However, the best events have been saved for last, namely the exciting concert roundup.

Starting with Roanoke College’s concert choir, today on April 21st, they will be hosting their spring concert in the Salem Presbyterian Church right by campus. Starting at 7:30 PM, this concert will also involve the Hidden Valley High School choirs, who will be joining along to celebrate the Easter holiday. The choir will have a stacked selection of iconic and religious songs, ranging from O God You Are My God, Coming Thro the Rye, Tu Sangre En La Mia, Quick! We Have But a Second, and many more! If you’re still celebrating Easter or just want to appreciate some good music, be sure to stop by!
The Roanoke College choir will also have a slew of performances after the Spring concert, such as the Runout at Salem Terrace. This will take place at the senior care facility, lasting from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Afterwards, there will be a baccalaureate service, a religious event for graduating seniors, starting at 4:00 PM. Then finally, as per usual, the choir will continue the tradition of singing the Alma Mater at Saturday, May 3rd’s graduation.

The iconic Roanotes also have a concert coming up on April 26th, 7:00 PM in the chapel. This is shaping up to be one of the biggest and most impressive Roanotes performances yet, displaying a huge setlist with songs such as Unwritten, Landslide, Ocean Man, Feeling Good, and many more. Make sure to stop by and witness these incredibly talented singers!
