Want a new way to find out what events are happening on campus? What about a way to get rewards for your attendance? Well look now further than opting-in for notifications from the college itself! A new, yet simple, way to find out about any kind of on campus activities that might capture your fancy implemented by the college.
By going to the website (https:/roa.ke/alerts) or scanning the QR code (located under this article and on the back page) you’ll be directed towards a checklist of genres, just to choose your own brand of events to go to. From events directed towards students 21 and older to tournaments and competitions. You’ll check the flavor of events that capture your attention and notifications in regard to that event will be sent to your mobile phone number 3 days before the event is set to be held.
Now you might be wondering why you should sign up for such a thing. Well, besides being an easy way to remind yourself about events and a nice way to find out about events that you like ahead of time, you gain the opportunity to collect RC Activity Reward Points!
For every Student Activities, CAB, Gameroom, and other unique on campus events, students will have a chance to gain points that will later be turned into raffle tickets– upping your chances to gain unique prizes and rewards such as an iPad, a smartwatch, a spa day, and 22 other various prizes at the end of semester raffle contest!
When you have so much to gain from such a simple system, why wouldn’t you sign up?
Again, all it takes is checking off the list for events you would like to be a part of, and that’s it! Just go to the events and get those RC Activity Reward Points, Maroons!
