Women’s Lacrosse: Our Lady Maroons (4-3, 1-1 ODAC) recently blew by Guilford in a dominating 22-3 victory on Wednesday, March 22. They take the field at home against a (3-1) New Paltz team at 1 p.m. this Saturday, March 24.
Men’s Lacrosse: Our men’s lacrosse team is proudly ranked No.10 on the USILA Coach’s Poll with a strong record of (6-2, 2-0 ODAC). Recently, they struggled against the No. 8 ranked Wesleyan (5-1), suffering an 18-5 loss. The Maroon’s look to bounce back in their next game away against Washington and Lee on Saturday, March 24 at 1 p.m.
Baseball: After a hot start and a busy spring break, our baseball team has accumulated 6 perfect games and earned the eighth spot on the National DIII Baseball rankings. The Maroons (14-3, 5-0 ODAC) defeated Greensboro College (7-11) by a score of 7-1 on Tuesday, March 20. Due to a snowy Wednesday, the game against Guilford (10-8-1) has been postponed. This Saturday March 24, the Maroon’s take on a double header at Shenandoah (10-4) at 12 and 3 p.m. During the Maroon’s 10 game win streak, senior Sean Guida was named ODAC Player of the Week and earned a spot on D3Baseball.com Team of the Week. Junior Ben West was awarded as the ODAC Pitcher of the Week.
Softball: On March 18, RC softball (11-9, 0-0 ODAC) lost both games in a double header against Christopher Newport University (11-3). Again, due to inclement weather, the game against Guilford (10-5) scheduled for Wednesday has been postponed for Wednesday, March 28. The team will be at home March 23, to face Southern Virginia University (7-9) in a 5 and 7 p.m. double header. Continuing a busy weekend, the Maroons will travel to Eastern Mennonite on Saturday, March 24 for a second double header at 1 and 3 p.m.
Women’s Tennis: These women are on fire, women’s tennis has improved their record to (6-1, 1-1 ODAC) after completing a six-game win streak. RC looks to continue this success at Shenandoah (2-2) on Saturday, March 24 at 1 p.m. and Sunday, March 25 at Emory and Henry (2-3) at 12 p.m.
Men’s Tennis: The Maroons (0-6, 0-1) are looking to grab their first win on Sunday, March 25 at 12 p.m. against Emory and Henry (0-6).
Golf: Our men’s golf team will travel this weekend, March 23-25 to Camp Lejeune, NC to compete in the 47th Intercollegiate Golf Championship on the Paradise Point Golf Course.
Men’s and Women’s Track and Field: The Maroons will travel to the Dr. Jack Tom’s Invitational that will take place on Friday, March 23 at Lynchburg College.
