Women’s Lacrosse

Your Lady Maroons (6-5, ODAC 1-3) dominated both New Paltz with a 15-11 win and MIT with a 21-12 win to bring their record from 4-3 to 6-3. The team had close losses to both Lynchburg and Randolph-Macon. They take the field again at 7 p.m. this Friday, April 6 at Bridgewater.

Softball

Due to inclement weather, RC softball had to postpone their double-header at Guilford. In the meantime, they swept Southern Virginia and split with Eastern Mennonite, bringing their record from (11-9, 0-0 ODAC) to (14-10, 1-1 ODAC). The team finished their week with two wins against Guilford, two losses to Virginia Wesleyan and another sweep against Bridgewater this past Wednesday, bringing their record to (18-12, 5-3 ODAC). Their next games are at Randolph this Tuesday, April 10 at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Women’s Tennis

The Lady Maroons hit an 8-game winning streak, including a 8-1 win against Shenandoah and a 7-2 win over Sweet Briar. Though they lost 7-0 to Liberty on Saturday, March 31, RC keeps their heads high with an (8-2, 3-1 ODAC) record. Their next game is against Randolph on Thursday, April 5 at 2 p.m.

Men’s Lacrosse

Despite losing 11-10 to Washington and Lee on March 24, our men’s lacrosse bounced back for a 9-8 win over Christopher Newport University as well as 13-11 win over Lynchburg later that same week. This Wednesday, April 4, the team also defeated Guilford to bring their record to (9-3, 4-1 ODAC). To top it all off, junior Ian Davies was named ODAC Player of the Week and was also named to USILA National Team of the Week. The Maroons have their next game on tomorrow April 7 at 1 p.m. at Hampden-Sydney.

Men’s Tennis

An eight-game losing streak couldn’t keep down our men’s tennis team. The men brought home a 6-3 win against Randolph on Thursday, April 5. This brings the team to a (1-8, 1-3 ODAC) record. They play next on Tuesday, April 10 at 3 p.m. at Bridgewater.
