Dear Gentle Reader, it has come to be known that Season 4 of Bridgerton is upon us! And even better for us, in Pickle at Colket Center on January 31st from 7PM-9PM Sit Down with Whistledown is happening to watch Part 1! A whimsical garden party filled with refreshments and fellow lovers of the show to commemorate the new season!
You, of course, do not need to have seen the show, still come to experience the Regency-era extravaganza. The new season will follow the second oldest Bridgerton, Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson), and his journey of love. We are thrown into a masquerade ball where a mysterious lady in silver piques his interest (named Sophie, played by Yerin Ha). Eloise, his sister (played by Claudia Jessie), makes it her mission to discover who this lady in silver truly is. As we go through this journey, we find out Sophie is a resourceful maid to the Lady of the house, Araminta Gun (played by Katie Leung, popularly known for portraying Cho Chang in the Harry Potter films and voicing Caitlyn Kiramman in the Arcane series on Netflix).
This season, as were the previous seasons, is based on the famous book series of the same name by Julia Quinn. This season takes inspiration from the third book of the eight-book series. The actress playing Sophie noted in multiple interviews promoting the new season that Sophie in the Netflix series is very similar to her counterpart in the books; resourceful, resilient, and a survivalist despite how much that could go against her.
Again, this garden party of exquisite fun will be held January 31st in Pickle at Colket from 7PM-9PM!
