State of Campus: Fall Flavors

In response to “Are there any specific events or festivals you look forward to during the fall?”

Ren Monin ‘27 said, “I am a huge fan of Halloween! I love the creepy yet colorful cheer, the fantastic costumes, and spending time with friends. Not to mention the nice chill in the air and the candy!”

In response to “How does the change in season affect your mood or study habits?”

Maggie Raker ‘27 said, “I think that this section of Virginia is beautiful in fall, but there’s also no denying it’s starting to cool off and rain more. It tends to be good for my studying that I’m consequently stuck inside more often. Being stuck inside can be rough on my mood, however, so I try to remind myself to take advantage of when it’s nice out, or indoor activities on campus!”

In response to “What’s a show or movie that you associate with fall, and what memories or feelings does it evoke for you?”

Sabrina Rogers ‘27 said, “Gilmore Girls! This show has always been a fall favorite due to the theme song and the feeling of watching this show with a nice cup of coffee, snuggled up in my fall get up. I love the color grading in the show where it’s on the cool toned autumn side in every scene, hence why I love watching this in the fall time.”
