R Ball is upon us once again! Annually, Roanoke College hosts R Ball (or as some people call it Presidents Ball, Prez Ball for short) where students and faculty alike can have an excuse to dust off their black-tie attire and enjoy a night full of fun!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On Friday, Mar. 13th between 8p.m. and 11p.m., Colket Center will be bustling with entertainment! You can pick up tickets at the info desk before Friday but do not fret, you can pick them up the night of. If you are 21+, you receive two free drink tickets, your third drink ticket can be available for purchase starting at 9p.m. at the Info Desk. There will be a specialty cocktail on each floor too. In the Lower Atrium we have the \u201cPoison Apple Cocktail,\u201d on the 2nd Floor Atrium is the \u201cMirkwood Mule Cocktail,\u201d and in Patterson will be a \u201cBrush Cocktail.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

More on food, the meals are always a hit. On the 1st floor, a cheese platter with assorted chips accompanied by dip will be featured. The RC dip will feature buffalo chicken and salsa fresca, paired with tortilla chips and pita chips. On the Lower Floor, foods like Tiramisu cups, Brownies, a soup station, and a pasta bar. Finally, on the Second floor, there will be Cremini Mushroom, Smoked Gouda Mac, and Lemon Bars (and more)!<\/span><\/p>\n

For entertainment, we\u2019ll start with the Lower floor. S\u2019mores & Crafts on Sutton Terrace, Axe Throwing also on Sutton Terrace, and finally Adam Williams Performance-folk acoustic music in Cavern. On the 1st floor, there\u2019s a Casino where you can win raffle tickets by playing games from slot machines all the way to Texas Hold \u2018Em, there\u2019s String Poets performing classical music as guest enter, and then Misty & Sandman Hypnotic Performance; a life hypnotist in Commons at 8:45pm. Lastly, the 2nd floor. Bachelor Boys Band will be performing in the ballroom LIVE, Leandra, the Fortune Teller will make an appearance to read your future, and then April Rose Art Watercolor Portraits will be in the President\u2019s Dining Room to see a live painter *Sign ups are at the Information desk and they will have a waitlist*.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Another fun perk, if you are a senior in Mug Club, stop by the information desk after 9pm during Prez Ball to pick up a third drink ticket provided by Advancement.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Again, Prez Ball is in Colket Center on Friday, Mar. 13th from 8p.m. to 11p.m.!<\/p>\n
