It\u2019s the season of fluffy blankets, nights in, and\u2026 warm drinks! There\u2019s a large variety to choose from, especially from Roanoke College\u2019s very own cafe, Rooney\u2019s! Here are my personal favorite hot drinks to help me beat the chilly air.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Number 3: Hot Chocolate. Hot cocoa can be hit-or-miss for me, because I am very particular about the temperature and ingredients in my drink. I enjoy hot chocolate, at least in theory. Rooney\u2019s cocoa is pretty alright, so if you\u2019re a hot chocolate lover, hopefully it won\u2019t disappoint. Dunkin&#8217; Donuts\u2019 hot cocoa used to be my favorite, but I had it again recently, and it did not live up to the expectations of my memories, unfortunately.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Number 2: Peppermint Mocha. This feels a little like cheating, since it\u2019s similar to hot cocoa, but it\u2019s my pick nonetheless! This is a drink I only have around the holidays, so maybe the novelty of it is a factor in why I like it so much. I\u2019m not the biggest coffee person, but I do really like peppermint and chocolate. Occasionally, I just order this as a peppermint hot chocolate, although I haven\u2019t done this in a couple of years now.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Number 1: Black tea with honey. This is a simple choice, but it\u2019s one that brings me great joy.
