While the spooky season may be over, November offers plenty more of Fall to be enjoyed (or not depending on your seasonal preferences). It is also the month of novel writing! The on-campus organization <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On Concept\u2019s Edge <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will have submissions open throughout the month to help cultivate the arts from our fellow maroons, writing and beyond. Let\u2019s see if any maroons have a creative spark they wish to share during these lovely autumn days.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How are you enjoying this Fall season so far? What is your favorite part of Fall? Least favorite?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI love fall! \u2018Tis my favorite season. I love watching the leaves turn to sunset fire and the brisk autumnal chill. What did you get to do for the Holiday? (And if you dressed up, what was your costume?)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c8\/10, I had a really relaxing Halloween; got to watch Charlie Brown\u2019s the Great Pumpkin, have some sparkling cider, and dress up as Alexander Hamilton! I also got to go to sleep at a decent hour, which was pretty great.\u201d &#8211; Iliana Martinez, Class of \u201829<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">November is the month of novel writing! What is your favorite novel and why? Also, will you be submitting to the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On Concept\u2019s Edge <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Literary Art Journal for the college?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cMy favorite novel is \u201cPerfume&#8221; by Patrick Suskind. I was always incredibly drawn to its almost surrealistic feel and its similarity to works by Beatnik authors I love. I also have a really strong sense of smell, and that book made me want to rip my nose off in the best way possible.
