This means it\u2019s also time for my favorite holiday \u2013 Halloween!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are tons of positive aspects to Halloween for me. The weather is cool but not ridiculously cold (autumn is my favorite season because of the weather). There is, of course, a lot of purple \u2013 my favorite color \u2013 around, along with other great colors like black, orange, and occasionally green. Halloween brings a lot of sweet treats too, which is great news for a candy lover like me!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For me, though, the costume aspect is my absolute favorite part of the holiday. It\u2019s always fun for me to figure out what I want my costume to be and how I can execute it \u2013 I am a big fan of thrifting pieces and using things I already have to create something new! It\u2019s especially fun if you have a matching theme with your friends or other loved ones. I matched with my family a few times growing up, and this will be my second year in a row coordinating costumes with my friends! My final reason for the costumes being my favorite part of Halloween is that for one night (or weekend, depending on when the holiday falls), you can be whatever you want without judgment, which is very freeing for me.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Halloween falls on a Friday this year, so that means Halloweekend will fall on the days immediately after.
