As September comes to a close and October begins, campus is buzzing with
\nexcitement. From Family Weekend highlights to midterm prep and the early signs of
\nHalloween spirit. Maroons are reflecting on recent moments, tackling what\u2019s ahead, and
\ngetting into the spirit of the season.
\nIn response to \u201cHow did Family Weekend go?\u201d<\/p>\n
Sabrina Rogers \u201927 said, “Family Weekend was amazing. I was one of the actors in the
\nMoors (the Roanoke College Theatre Production), so I was doing that. I had a really
\ngreat time backstage with all my castmates. All three of our shows were sold out so
\nwhen we got big laughs from the audience it was super exciting. This was one of my
\nfavorite Family Weekends.\u201d<\/p>\n
In response to \u201cHow are you preparing for midterms?\u201d<\/p>\n
Josh Ipe \u201827 said, \u201cI am doing a lot of meetings with my professors to make sure I have
\nall the materials down. Otherwise, I schedule a set amount of time each day for
\nstudying and getting in midterm assignments. Lastly, I am making sure to get enough
\nsleep so I can avoid making mistakes due to sleep deprivation.\u201d<\/p>\n
In response to \u201cIs it time for Halloween yet? What is the best time for you to start
\ncelebrating?\u201d<\/p>\n
Kenzie Raub, \u201cI am a huge fan of Halloween, it is my favorite holiday. So, by the end of
\nSeptember, I usually get into the spooky spirit. I\u2019m in the spooky spirit now, so I am
\nalready planning my Halloween costume! I love the fall and the scary vibes that come
\nwith Halloween.\u201d<\/p>\n
