To kick off the semester, this week has a plentiful amount of fun and exciting activities that you absolutely do not want to miss.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you\u2019ve been having an itch to get involved, but have no idea how, don\u2019t worry! This Friday, from 4:30PM through 6:30PM, is the Winter Activities Fair held in Bast Gym. For those who aren\u2019t aware, the Activities Fair is a massive gathering of all the college\u2019s clubs all brought into one massive fair as a collective. Their top representatives will provide students with goodies, as well as formal information towards their club\u2019s agendas, passions, and overall goals they aim to accomplish. Some of these organizations will even offer paid on-campus jobs, so feel free to stop by, take a look around, and ask questions to see if any clubs are the right fit for you!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That\u2019s not all however, because up next is a brand new event. The upcoming Chess Tournament is just around the corner, happening this Friday from 7:00PM through 9:00PM in the lower atrium of Colket. Participants will compete fiercely against one another in a bracket-style competition, with the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners being granted grand prize packs. Chess boards will be provided, so there\u2019s no need to sweat on bringing your own material. If you\u2019re looking for a fun competition and have a knack for Chess, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
