But nobody can decide on what holiday!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some stores began displaying Christmas items before Halloween even passed. When I went into Target two days after Halloween, multiple Christmas songs were already being played over the radio speakers. It\u2019s a pretty common joke that each year Christmas creeps up earlier and earlier, but I was curious about how people actually feel about it!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This of course led me to put out another poll on my Instagram story. I received several more responses this time than I had previously, with a grand total of 50! The specific question I asked was \u201cAre you listening to Christmas music yet?\u201d Out of the 50 responses, 32 replied \u201cno,\u201d citing that it\u2019s too early to do so. This was a whopping 64% of the votes, almost two thirds! 18 voters replied that they are in fact listening to Christmas music now, \u201cdefrosting\u201d along with Mariah Carey and her hit \u201cAll I Want for Christmas is You.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">My vote was in the \u201cno\u201d category. Growing up, we would wait to put up our Christmas tree and play festive music until after December 10<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which is my mom\u2019s birthday. However, in recent years my mother has relaxed on that rule and begins getting into the Christmas spirit earlier. My personal time to listen to Christmas music is after Thanksgiving is over. I like to give each holiday some attention!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Regardless of what you\u2019re starting to celebrate, this is a season of love, warmth, and family.
