Halloween is just around the corner, and you can feel it all around! Pumpkin spice, orange and black, and all sorts of critters are just about everywhere now. Personally, I\u2019m enjoying it all, since this is my favorite season and holiday! The costumes and the mischief bring me so much joy. For some people though, the main draw of the season is something sweeter. Yep, you probably guessed it \u2013 Halloween is known for its candy!<\/span><\/p>\n Out of curiosity, I made a poll on the whiteboard outside my dorm room door and posted a question sticker on my Instagram account that asked people to share their favorite Halloween candies. Almost every responder answered with some variety of chocolate. Several people said they like plain chocolate, such as Hershey\u2019s. A few people specified that they don\u2019t like nuts or nut butter in their candy. I even got a couple surprising answers, such as York Peppermint Patties and Whoppers! My personal favorite candy is Haribo Gummy Bears.<\/span><\/p>\n There were many answers that were vague, such as \u201csour candies\u201d or just \u201cchocolate,\u201d which made it difficult to collect any cohesive data on peoples\u2019 specific favorite candy varieties. Additionally, I only got a sample of about ten people, which is obviously not enough for a true scientific inquiry. Thankfully, this was all just for fun!<\/span><\/p>\n Whatever your favorite candy is, I hope you get lots of it this Halloween! There are going to be a lot of cool themed events happening in the coming days, so it\u2019s time to get in the Halloween spirit!
