Almost entirely composed of freshmen on top of being a brand new team, the Maroons\u2019 victorious streak seems to be endless. On October 6th at Bridgewater, VA, the team went up against Bridgewater College for their third ever match. The final score ended with a 21-14 lead for the Maroons, securing their three game win streak on their very first season. Winning three matches in a row for a completely new team in any sport is an incredible accomplishment, but like all great athletes, they strived to push this even <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">further<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Come October 20th, taking place at the classic Salem Stadium. Roanoke College is up against Fork Union Military Academy. The tension is intense, the audience is packed and blaring, and everyone is laser-focused on the match. Touchdowns are exchanged back to back, leading up to a tied score near the end of the fourth quarter with only mere seconds to spare. Then, a miracle struck: Maroon Ethan Graves catches a 12-yard touchdown pass from Blake Moore, and finishes the game in an astonishing 35-28 victory for Roanoke College; leaving Noke undefeated once more. With just one more game to spare, we could be at the cusp of witnessing Roanoke College Football dominating the entire <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">season <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">as their final match inches ever closer against George Mason. Make sure not to miss this upcoming historical game on November 3rd, where Roanoke will decide once and for all if we\u2019re truly undefeated.
