Roanoke College is haunted. Not so much a secret, it\u2019s something that professors and faculty embrace by sharing stories and even creating a class to explore the mysteries of the afterlife.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cGhosts and Human Perception\u201d is a class created for Roanoke college students to explore the paranormal. I haven\u2019t had the pleasure of joining this class but if you are someone interested in spirits and any unexplainable events you might want to take a look at the classes offered.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students specifically look at Monterey House, located at the corner of High and Clay Streets. It&#8217;s a building highly known for its paranormal activity and used by students to experience a glimpse of any spirits that remain in this historic place. There is a tradition of all the students in the class spending a night in the house as they experience inexplicable events that later turn into ghost stories shared on campus. Sometimes you will experience visual phenomena such as lights flickering or even hearing gusts of wind inside the house. One student felt his hoodie being tugged on while no one else was near him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are curious about these occurrences I recommend reading more information on Roanoke College\u2019s description of this class. Or, if you are brave enough, join the class and experience the paranormal yourself.
