If you are a sports fan or not, March Madness can<br \/>\nbe a fun time. As long as I can remember, my family has<br \/>\ncreated brackets for March Madness and it is brilliant. We<br \/>\nwould always spend one night during the beginning of<br \/>\nMarch and fill them out together. When I was younger,<br \/>\nteams were picked by ranking or mascot. It was always<br \/>\nfun because Dad would say it as \u201cwho would win, the<br \/>\nBulldogs or the Blue Jays?.\u201d It was never about the teams<br \/>\nor the brackets, but individual games.<br \/>\nI may be a basketball fan now who follows the<br \/>\nteams throughout the season, but back then I would just<br \/>\npick at random. We did not win prizes, but we could win<br \/>\nsmall things like the right to pick where we would go for<br \/>\ndinner one night. Brackets bring the games to life<br \/>\nbecause sports always are more fun when you care about<br \/>\nthe outcome of the game. Having a favorite team makes<br \/>\nyou pay more attention to the games. I have always<\/p>\n<p>enjoyed things more when I have a stake in the outcome<br \/>\nof whatever it is.<br \/>\nBrackets during March Madness have always<br \/>\nbeen a fun thing that brought people together. I have<br \/>\nhad teachers that printed brackets for all of us, kept up<br \/>\nwith our brackets, and gave away candy and homework<br \/>\npasses to the winners of the brackets. As March Madness<br \/>\nends, finding fun ways to connect with people should<br \/>\nnot. Brackets during March are a fun annual thing, but<br \/>\nthroughout the year there are many tournaments where<br \/>\nbrackets can be made. Brackets in March, to me, have a<br \/>\nsimilar effect as fantasy football in the fall.
