One such film that has become notorious with the holiday is Jon Favreau (\u201cIron Man\u201d, \u201cCouples Retreat\u201d) directed movie \u201cElf\u201d, featuring talent from hilarious actor Will Ferrel (\u201cMegamind\u201d, \u201cSpirited\u201d, \u201cStep Brothers\u201d), the cunning wit of Zooey Deschanel (\u201cBridge to Terabithia\u201d, \u201cYes Man\u201d, \u201cNew Girl\u201d), and other notorious actors. The movie was originally released in 2003 and told the outrageously funny story of Buddy (Will Ferrel) the elf trying to find his dad (James Caan)\u00a0 in New York City.
