With Valentine\u2019s Day right around the corner, it\u2019s important to think about the message that the flowers you get your sweetheart send. Luckily, I am here to help you with this decoding. My survival guide to flowers on Valentine\u2019s Day is here to the rescue:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Roses: Roses come in a lot of colors, and all symbolize different things. I recommend that you buy your valentine red roses, because those are a classic symbol of love and devotion.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Carnations: Simple and sweet. A good choice for a friend, but they do symbolize love and good fortune, so they\u2019re still a solid choice for your sweetheart.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chrysanthemums: Do not buy these unless your valentine loves them or has requested them. These are flowers you buy for your mother.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Garden variety bouquet: Picking up an already prepared bouquet is perfect for the busy college student, and there\u2019s nothing wrong with it. The only advice I offer here is that you should be sure that all the flowers in the bouquet are in good shape and alive.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A quick note: you know your valentine the best.
