Sharing the goodwill of man in the form of a magical gift, only the most brilliant app designers can give us. Well folks, it\u2019s finally here, Spotify Wrapped.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Opening my Spotify app on Wednesday morning, I nearly jumped for joy as I saw the words, \u201c2021 Wrapped\u201d. I think it&#8217;s safe to say many of us lost a little faith in humanity as we entered into the second year of COVID-19, but I think CEO Daniel Ek restored a little bit of that faith this week (despite being a sketchy billionaire). I quickly contacted all my friends to compare and contrast our unique yearly stats, and was pleased to find that the beloved Spotify genre \u2018Stomp and Holler\u2019 was not in my top genres for 2021. For the rest of the day I spent my time scrolling through social media looking at everyone\u2019s Spotify Wrapped, not working on the multiple semester end assignments I have yet to start.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Spotify added some new features this year, including your music vibe. I personally felt like the main character of a teen drama seeing my vibe was joy and yearning. Spotify made me the main character, complete with a movie soundtrack with songs to play during a \u201ckissing in the rain\u201d scene or the \u201copening credits\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I think I can safely say this past Wednesday was the highlight of many of our weeks.
