Music can help to relax the mind, energize the body, help to manage pains, and therefore make you healthier. Here are five everyday examples of how you can use the world of music to improve your mental and physical health:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Music can improve mood. We often use it in relation to how we\u2019re feeling but it can also be used to change just that. It\u2019s harder to be sad when dancing along to a good song!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Music can reduce stress and symptoms of depression. It has been proven that you are likely to recover faster when listening to relaxing music or other sounds.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Music can improve performance. For many, playing music in the background can help you get more tasks done. Not to mention, it can make things more fun!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Music can help you sleep better. A lot of people, especially college students, can agree that listening to music can help you relax and fall asleep, resulting in better sleep quality.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Music can improve endurance. We all have a preferred step frequency when walking regularly or exercising but just the right track might encourage you to pick up the pace. Aside from this, a person&#8217;s perception of exertion is lowered.
