With the one year anniversary of COVID here, I took some time to reflect on the last 365 days. There\u2019s been a lot of things I\u2019ve learned about myself, pop culture, and the communities I\u2019m a part of.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Quarantining is not easy.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. You can still have fun if you get creative.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. It\u2019s easy to focus on the things lost or the negatives, but try to stay positive.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Chloe Ting workouts are no joke.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Wearing a mask is about protecting others and not just yourself.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. \u201cZoom University\u201d negatively impacts your attention span once you\u2019ve transitioned back to the classroom.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. A 10-year age gap is only a deal-breaker if you talk about it too much (AKA Jessica to Mark)<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Your community of loved ones are there for you.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  9. It\u2019s okay to not be motivated ALL the time.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  10. Count your blessings.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  11. Family gatherings are important, but so is protecting the senior citizens in your family, so finding the balance is important.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  12. TikTok can save you from quarantine boredom (and maybe even lead to fame)<\/span><\/li>\n
  13. Check in on your loved ones.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  14. Remember that no one has gone through a worldwide pandemic before, so there is no \u201cguidebook.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
  15. Despite how well-planned out you might be, you have to be willing to adjust the sail.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  16. Did Caole Baskin kill her husband???<\/span><\/li>\n
  17. Walks are great!<\/span><\/li>\n
  18. We are very fortunate to live in an era where technology is big and can stay in touch via FaceTime or Zoom.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  19. The lyrics to \u201cElectric Love\u201d will forever be engraved in my mind.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  20. Maskne is a thing, so wash your face even more than you used to, without over-doing it.<\/span><\/li>\n
  21. There are so many things that can be virtual now, but cherish the times you get to be in-person with people.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
