This 3-hour movie does start to feel like a slogging novel at times, so perhaps the name is fitting after all.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In perfectly fair and in no uncertain terms: the movie is adequately good. It is by no means memorable per se, but it\u2019s not bad either.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">IT Chapter <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 is enough to keep audiences busy for three hours, but the three hours watching it in the theatre will likely be the last time the movie occupies your conscience.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jeffrey Bloomer from <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Slate<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> describes the sensation as, \u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It&#8217;s obvious that the filmmakers failed to fully reckon with what they&#8217;ve put on the screen, and the results are grim.\u201d Interesting as it is that \u201cgrim\u201d was used to describe the movie, it was not quite in the terms director Andres Muschietti expected.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">IT: Chapter Too Damn Long <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">hit theaters September 9 and will be running for some time. While viewers have already missed the spookiest opportunity ever to watch a horror movie (that being Friday the 13, during a full moon no less), hopefully spookier activities filled up their time.
